Build Your Own Nest Box!

This is a simple nest box design that I've used for years. It works real well in cold climates and the size fits my bunnies, New Zealand Whites and Rexs. I've made these out of plywood. I can cut the pieces for 4 nest boxes from one 4'x8' sheet of plywood.

Front (4¾"x11") • Back (11"x11") • Top (8"x11")
Left Side (18"x11") • Bottom (18"x11") • Right Side (18"x11")

Attach bottom to sides.

Attach back.

Attach front.

Attach top (I've pre-drilled holes for ventilation).

Four new nest boxes.

Here's one I built 15+ years ago that I'm still using today.
